The Sticker on your Laptop Hollow Knight The reason I couldn't focus on work for months 😂
Alot of it (for me) is just background noise but I still need to stay productive. 🤔 Great tips! Thank you.
Watching in 2024❤
It's incredible and wholesome how I have followed Thomas for years and I just came back to one of his videos for advice I need now, after not following his videos for a while. Thanks for the quality of videos you always produce so I can always go back and make it an important part of my development.
Thank you! This was perfect!
2:34 Video starts from here
your talking a little too fast
I got much better and faster when I learned to let go and use more inference. You don't have to get everything, and you can't get everything. For instance, I just picked up Cry the Beloved Country and ripped through the first 50 pages. There were lots of African names for geographic locations. Do I know these? No. Do I need to? No. I got a general idea of the landscape and environment he was describing, and getting bogged down in all those names would not only have significantly slowed me down, it would have also muddied the mental picture--the movie--I had in my mind. It would have made my comprehension worse. I can't have the same clear picture of the landscape that a South African has who's familiar with these places. You have to learn to live with these partial understandings to gain more speed, and even better comprehension. Practice with a variety of reading is really the key to getting better.
Love this
They scan resumes and cover letters through a program looking for specific talents, abilities and skill sets through wording so just understand that a 6 second glance is about the amount of time it takes to do that.😅
4:46 which app is this?
That Richard Feynman quote at 7:48 sounds like “The Final Understanding” from the conspiracy theory iceberg
- 00:00🎯 Realized doing too many things leads to unfinished tasks and overworking. - 01:18🚀 Higher pressure productivity increases effectiveness. - 02:34🤔 Start by defining what you want across different life areas. - 05:26💡 Break down goals into actionable steps and adopt accountability systems. - 06:32🔄 Identify common actions across goals to streamline efforts. - 07:50📋 Distinguish between actions and projects, break down projects into smaller tasks. - 10:09🔄 Establish habits and systems to support goal achievement. - 13:37🔍 Evaluate what to cut or pause to focus on priorities.
Oh. So, ebooks aren’t auditable??
Can anyone help me with a couple of questions? 1. I'm looking into a change of career/field. Luckily a lot of my skills are transferrable, how do you recommend I write my resume? 2. I worked for a major telecommunications and wireless provider in the US. I worked on several high profile/multi-million contracts for this provider. I have a proven record of my achievements. How do I go about creating a website to line up these achievements without disclosing too much? thank you!!!
I love numbers and yearned to be a high school math teacher but school officials, particularly the DOE, discouraged me as much as they could (without making it look so obvious) from chasing my dream. I also recall CUNY guidance counselors discouraging me from pursuing my academic objectives. This was all done in an effort to keep certain minorities from reaching success and job security. The New York City DOE is the definition of toxicity. So, I did others things with my life. Now at 59 years old with three (not boasting) college degrees, I find myself working as a security guard making peanuts for a living in a dead-end job with no pension, no benefits, a simple but confusing 401k (knowledge of the stock market is needed), and the list goes on and on. How about that for a story? P. S. I also worked as a substitute teacher for 8 years in NYC public schools. The worst 8 years of my life.
This is so helpful because I learned a lot of things concerning filing
26:29 Can u please give me this background template? I'm a UA-camr 😶
26:01 Yeah! Sure
Which mic are you currently using?
I’m cooked and probably killing myself if I fail my finals, hope this helps!
lol. Make small functions so you can make big functions with them. Do not listen to this guy,
When studying for history exams, after going over the notes, I'd walk around campus delivering "a lecture" on the subject. I looked like a nut, but that's what college is for. I aced those exams: to have to put all that information into a coherent talk really cemented it in your mind. Writing it down later then was easy.
There are no people to talk to because of social media...this result is by design
The continuity error 1:51 🤣 It’s the small things like that that take your videos from (just) useful and informative to downright entertaining. Thanks for the great content!
Coffee shops. Sit at a table near the cashier, and low key greet people while painting. This is how I make friends. When it's busy and there's nowhere to sit, I invite strangers to sit with me. It forces people to sit with people and the art gives you an icebreaker. I had 500 business cards and after a few months I'm running out. So enjoy. It works. Be patient, try different coffee shops and wait for the magic of networking and learning to socialize with different people.
Working on Sunday?? I got church bro
Thanks for coming back, and for having a great impact!!!
I felt this, burned out, so I just quit my job, now 5 weeks unemployed, I don't feel the motivation to go back to working...
Thank you for the great content, Thomas. How much time each day did you spend learning to program?
Thank you you help people
So educative😂

Going back to college while working full time. I'm starting off by taking 2 online classes during the summer semester. Thank you for these tips!
With out islam you are not happy.
This did absolutely NOTHING for me. Waste of time
Please I can understand Math and I love it
Well, nothing new in this video. Anyway, do not always take the easy path.
Maths. I’ve ignored an entire 6 mark question in my final exam last year, Something was negative that I forgot the write the - sign Calculator errors. Typing the wrong thing and getting the wrong answer. 2*8 = 18. For some reason I’ve forgotten to sqrt my final answer after using Pythagoras The question was to find the area of the circle after finding x, I wrote x as the answer Part b was in the same line as part a so I didn’t see it My entire class used to expect me to get the award for 100%, (I wanted too) but I don’t think they do anymore 💀
the video went from 'how to organize' to 'how to backup ' pretty quick !
I have two attempts hopefully I’m more prepared two weeks from now
I deleted Instagram and now I'm accessing it through chrome
Your videos help me a lot 🤔📚
You watching cus you want to be better for him
The worst part of my failure is that I could've studied but instead I procastinated the whole semester
Like if you are watching this before a final test 🤓
going through a self assessed depressive episode after years of denying I had something wrong with me and the constant stress I was at from school. I haven't been fully relaxed and taken a "deserved" rest since like 13 and im turning 17 next week. I got exams and im close to failing every single one of them. it is not just because of me being on my phone all the time but it does take a huge toll on my mental health as well. everything I do feels like some sort of an escapism to me and i only seem to relax when I partake in taking drugs with my peers. I am a coward for not wanting to go to therapy. it is funny how I denied depression and did not believe someone could be depressed at a young age, but looking on that behavior now, it seems like projecting to me. all I want in my life is to wake up one day and just be the way that I want myself to be but I know that will never happen. the occasional bombings and sirens that are happening in my city dont even seem to affect me that much, cause im numb to that. i sometimes imagine that if I did went to therapy and got diagnosed with depression legitimately, would it make me feel better, but i answer this question to myself with "I dont know" as it will bring a sense of relief, that it is not my fault and I was not making it all up, but at the same time, It would make things harder because my relatives would find out and things would get ugly. my mom thinks im just a lazy teen, and I may be exactly that, but I personally think that my potential is far greater than what I am accomplishing as of now. I am afraid of a realization that if I dont get my life sorted out, I will turn from a kid that has great potential, to a regular dude that had potential once but he let himself go.
